FAQ

Everything couples ask before (and after) they buy. Still unsure about something? Message me — I'm a real person and I answer my own messages.

Is this a ready-made website, or do I build it myself?

A little of both — and in the nicest way. You're not starting from a blank page: the design, the layout, and all the wording are already done. What you do is open the template in Canva and swap in your details — your names, your date, your photos. That's it. So it's not a fully built, hands-off service, and it's not a scary "design it from scratch" project either. It's the easy middle: the designer look, without the designer price or the blank-page panic. Most couples finish in an evening, even if they've never opened Canva before.

What's included when I buy?

You'll get instant access to your Canva template plus a step-by-step PDF guide that walks you through every part — editing your text, swapping photos, setting up your RSVP, and publishing your link. Website templates include the full multi-page site with a built-in RSVP form; save-the-date templates include the 3-page mini-site. Everything is yours to keep and reuse for your own wedding.

Do I need Canva Pro?

No, lovely — everything works with the free version of Canva. You'd only need Canva Pro if you want to connect your own custom domain or use Canva's Pro stock photos. Neither is required to make a beautiful site.

I've never used Canva and I'm not really "a design person." Can I still do this?

Yes — truly. If you can drag, drop, and type, you can do this. The design is already finished, so you're not making creative decisions from scratch; you're just personalizing what's there. The guide assumes you've never touched Canva and walks you through it click by click. And if you get stuck, I'm a message away.

What if I get stuck — how fast will you reply?

Quickly. I'm a real person, not a help desk or a chatbot, and I answer my own messages. One bride sent a question at 5:30am and had an answer within minutes. I can't always promise that fast, but I'm genuinely here to help you get unstuck. (My posted hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm EST.)

Is my website mobile-friendly?

Yes — it's designed with phones in mind, since that's where most of your guests will open it. Your guide shows you how to preview and fine-tune the mobile view before you publish, so it looks just as lovely on a phone as on a laptop.

How does the RSVP work — do my guests need a Canva account?

No account needed. Once your site is published, anyone with the link can view it and submit the RSVP form — no logins, no apps, no redirects. The form is built right into your page.

Where do my RSVP responses go?

They save automatically inside your Canva design. To see them, open your original design in Canva (not the published link), click directly on the form, and choose "Responses" in the top toolbar. Just a heads-up: responses aren't emailed to you automatically — you'll check them right there in Canva whenever you like.

How do I publish my website and get my link?

In Canva, click "Publish Website" and choose your site name (for example, yournames.my.canva.site). Canva gives you your shareable link right away. One important thing: the URL can't be changed after publishing, so double-check the spelling first!

Can I edit my website after it's published?

Absolutely — anytime. Just open your design in Canva, make your changes, and click "Republish" to update the live version. Your link stays the same.

Can I change the colours and fonts?

Text, wording, and fonts are fully editable, along with many of the design elements. One honest note: most of the florals and envelope artwork are image-based, so dramatic colour swaps on those pieces may not look natural. For the smoothest result, start with the template closest to the look you're after — there's a good range to choose from.

Can I add my own photos, videos, or music?

Photos, yes — swap in as many of your own as you like. Videos can be embedded too. Music I'd gently steer you away from: Canva sites are page-based, so audio restarts every time a guest moves to a new page, which gets distracting fast.

Can I create my site in another language?

Yes — all the text is fully editable, so you can write your site in any language you'd like.

Can I link to my registry or another site?

Yes. You can link any button — RSVP, registry, anything — out to an external website. You just can't import this template into another wedding platform, but linking out to one works perfectly.

Can I personalize it for individual guests?

This one's a gentle no for larger weddings. Personalizing per guest would mean a separate copy and separate link for each person, which makes RSVP tracking really tricky. For most couples, one shared link is the way to go.

Can I add a password or keep my site private?

Yes — Canva lets you add a password when you publish, so you can keep your site just for invited guests if you'd like.

How long does my website stay live?

As long as you want it to. There's no expiration — once it's published, it stays live until you decide to take it down.

What's your refund policy?

Because these are instant digital downloads, all sales are final — so if you're unsure whether a template is the right fit, please message me before you buy. I'd genuinely rather help you choose the right one (or tell you honestly if it's not for you) than have you end up with something that doesn't fit.

Do you offer custom design services?

Not at the moment — I focus on editable templates so I can keep them beautiful and keep the price gentle. But between the template and the included guide, most couples are surprised how "custom" their site ends up feeling once their own photos and words are in.

Where are you based?

I'm based in Canada and I work with couples all over the world. 🤍
